PBS offers free download of "The Presidents"...
sds: mirza: PBS has The Presidents (part of the American Experience) available as a free download. My personal favorite episode is their documentary on FDR. This is quiet a good deal considering the box set costs $130 I am definitely downloading these. On a side note, PBS could’ve saved a ton on bandwidth costs if they distributed these (totally legal) files via bittorrent.

ohtrouble: sarahchristine: What the hell? I am sorry, and this may make me very unpopular, but why do people think it is a good idea to have so many children? Why would someone who already has 6 children take fertility drugs? The world is over-populated as it is and you take it upon yourself to add 14 more children to it? Why are you so special? Why not adopt if you want to have a huge family?...

“Clean, drinkable water is something most of us take for granted. But millions of people — 1 in 6, to be precise –- don’t have access to clean water. Sarah Bird decided to do something about that. She founded a company in Pakistan called Saafwater that sells chlorine tablets directly to the public so people can purify their water themselves. What would inspire a young British...
