Sell-out of the day: Weyland Industries announces Internet Explorer partnership
Talk about pathetic. You’re grasping at straws, Microsoft. As if there will be anyone still using IE in 2015, let alone 2075…
My computer’s IE has only one site in its history: www.mozilla.org
Seriously? I think it’s brilliant. It perfectly explains the press release from June 14, 2071:
“The Weyland Cybernetics division has announced a limited recall of all David 7 units with serial numbers between 5000 and 6000, types A through C, in response to consumer claims that these models experienced failure while attempting to interpret certain” human interactions and commands”
And this comment (which the humans have backwards if the real IE is any indication, but whatever):
“The David 7’s apparently misread human emotions such as surprise and interest, interpreting them instead as anger or frustration.”
